Doug Kaye is an editorial and fine-art photographer living in Marin County, California.
He received a B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley in directing and lighting design for the stage, attended the NYU Graduate Institute of Film and Television, and produced two documentary films in the 1970s.
Doug spent the next three decades in the computer/Internet field. In 1978 he started a software business, which he sold in 1996. He was the CTO of four dot-com startups, wrote two Internet-technology books, created the IT Conversations podcast in 2003 and founded the 501(c)(3) non-profit Conversations Network in 2005.
Now retired from his full-time tech career, Doug spends as much time as possible with his photography.
